Pepsi Max Thief

Pepsi Max Thief

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snoooooow!

Winter is officially here in Stockholm. The morning was covered with fluffy white snow and the winter smiled at one with a purple skies, it was awesome. Haha now I’ll stop being so-called poetic but a little positivity doesn’t hurt on a Monday right? Especially when you have to endure five days before you can take some winter break, can’t wait!

It was pretty quiet at work because the mood is low and I think many have already started checking out mentally but trying to squeeze out the last drops of energy. During lunch, we sat and talked about the Christmas riddles from Stromberg’s advent calendar and Andreas was annoyed and pinches out: Someone have finished my Pepsi MAX again !!!

Before we go on with the story, so usually Andreas always buy Pepsi MAX lime large bottles that he puts in the fridge over the week. But just over a month ago, someone drank up his bottle but we thought it was someone who had been drinking it by mistake. So this had happened once before (that I know of anyway) but yes, he was not so happy but still had humor about the situation, while others thought it was rude of the “unknown” person. But he continued: You know what the worst part is? I found the bottle in the recycle corner while the whole fridge is full of root beer but this someone took MY Pepsi MAX! One may well ask anyway if they want to have some!

I was probably the only one who was laughing hard, not because someone took his Pepsi but more his comments that came out of his mouth. The other said he should mark the bottles better and there was no more about it, but he continued to talk to others of the situation.

In the afternoon it was time for the last monthly meeting where they went through various processes, projects, budgets, etc. We also got our Christmas present which was a thermos cup and thermos bottle from Sagaform , they were super fancy and practical. Later in the day you see Andreas go to the kitchen with a note and followed him to see what he could find and my goodness I laughed till I cried.

Game of Dubrovnik

Game of Dubrovnik

I’m back! Well, I have been home for almost a week.

For those who follow me on Instagram @hugsxheart know that I was traveling. The destination this time was Dubrovnik, Croatia. I just have say that I’m in love with this magical town, it was everything I wanted and more. My sister and I did our first trip together and it was really exciting to share this experience with her. Dubrovnik is an old town with lots of history but at the same time they have nice docks and beaches with clear blue water. We spent almost 3 days in Dubrovnik where we did some sightseeing, chilled at the beach, ate good food, walked the Dubrovnik wall with the view of the sunset, it was breathtaking. I didn’t want to leave, even the view from our apartment was to die for sure it was very hilly but totally worth it.

We also took one day bus trip to Montenegro along with 40 other people, we went to Budva, Kotor and Perast. Guys, you should totally visit this country too, the nature and mountains were so amazing. We took lots of photos and just spent our day enjoying the view and relaxing. On the way home, our bus had some issues with the motor so we spent 2-3 hours on the side of the road with a motel nearby that didn’t take debit card or Croatian kuna, so no dinner for us except some chips we had. The funny part that everyone on the bus minded their own business all day without talking to anyone and suddenly people started to be social.

I started to talk to this really cute guy from Argentina who had the cutest smile, and he was telling me about his Euro trip and Tomorrowland. It was dark and it felt like camping under the stars and moonlight, romantic huh? Haha well we were sitting on the ground and had no food. So yeah, we had a little flirt but nothing special and then our ride came; minibuses… we got separate cars so there he went (ok we exchanged FB but he is too far and too much of a party guy, not my scene). I had so much fun and it was an experience.

However, there was one downside of the trip… It was too HOT!!! Omg, I’m from Sweden were our summers are not at all but 32-34 degrees (celsius) everyday was too much for me and I was sweating rivers haha … The heat was called Lucifer and many European countries were affected. Overall it was so good and I miss Dubrovnik already and I hope to go back someday. I’m totally recommending this place, especially if you love Game of thrones 😉

Chia pudding recipe

Chia pudding recipe

First of all, I just have to say it’s so fun to be blogging again and to see some familiar faces that are still around and also a big welcome to new readers. Being a part of a small community is the reason I’m still here 🙂

Hope you all had/having a great weekend! I have been in bed almost all weekend not feeling so well, but it’s much better now. I’m glad that some of you liked the previous post and I even got a request on how to make chia pudding, it’s super easy! I know that there are different recipes online but I make it in the most basic way.

Chia pudding recipe (1 serving):

0,5- 1 cup milk of your choice  (oat, almond, coconut etc.)

1-3 teaspoons chia seeds

___

Step 1. Pour the milk in a bowl, I use oat milk in my chia pudding to keep it extra healthy but you can use whatever you prefer. I take the amount of milk that is for the small serving glass (seen on the picture above), so you can increase the amount of liquid.

Step 2. Pour the chia seeds into the bowl (adjusted to the liquid). You can buy chia seeds at any health stores, grocery stores or even online. I bought these really cute pocket chia seeds in Malaysia from the brand Love Earth but I normally buy bigger packs from the store.

Step 3. Start stirring the seeds in the liquid until it give a gelatine consistence (see the pictures below), just adjust if more milk or seed are needed. When you feel that it’s the right thickness, pour the pudding into a serving glass/bowl. I normally make my chia pudding in the evenings and put it in the fridge over the night because it sets in well.

Chia pudding can be the perfect breakfast or healthy snack and it’s super nice after workout or if you invite people over. You can add anything topping you want for flavor. This was my first attempt to share a recipe on this blog haha, hope you guys got the idea anyways.

Other than that I got a new phone few days ago which I was super excited about. I finally said goodbye to my iPhone and got Samsung Galaxy S8 and the camera and design is to die for but I’m still used to iOS.

Sunny side up

Sunny side up

Loving those sunny days where you can sit in the balcony and just enjoy some healthy snacks. I’m planning on being more healthy again because lately I have been kinda sloppy when it comes to eating right and exercising. It is very important to take care of yourself!

The past days I have been making chiapudding as breakfast and it’s actually good especially when you have berries or nuts. I’m also making fresh juice with my awesome juice making machine I got as a XMAS gift from my mom.

I would love to hear about your favorite healthy breakfast or snacks that I can try out!

Magic of Summer

Magic of Summer

Summers in Sweden can be the most relaxing thing in the world, especially when the weather is right. I have been living in Sweden all my life and for me the summers have always been magical and calming even though you just stare at the water or just taking a walk in the forest or a park for hours. Just you and the nature!

Today was really good weather so my family and I decided to have a BBQ at Hagaparken, which is a park north of Stockholm where the Crown Princess of Sweden currently lives. We had a really good time and just had some family quality time, no stress! I made some rhubarb pie that we had back home with some delicious ice-cream!

Here are some pictures from today:

Chapter XXIX

Chapter XXIX

It feels really strange to be blogging again… it’s almost like I’ve forgotten how to write posts since I have been writing academic texts/essays the past two years at university. For those who have been following me for a long time knows that I love expressing myself and sharing my experiences. Like I mentioned in the previous post, I felt like having a new start for the blog since I’m entering a new chapter in my life right now.

Some of you guys might wonder what I have been up to the past months. Well for starters, I’m officially a Master’s graduate in Business and got really good feedback on my thesis. I’m currently looking for a job, so I have some extra free time right now. I was in Asia with my family after my graduation, we went to Singapore and Malaysia for almost two weeks and it was an amazing experience and we really enjoyed the trip. I’m still single but currently very happy to finally feel free from all the selfish and toxic guys that I dated. I rather wait a bit longer for the right person rather than meeting guys who is not good for me. Other than that I have been spending time with family and friends, just chilling!

Hope you all are doing well! I’ve missed you!

I hope that I will find interesting things to write about and share it with you guys! Please let me know if it is something specific you want to read more about and I’ll love to try it out! Also make sure to follow my Instagram where I update stuff!

Talk to you guys soon!
